SMALL GROUPS: REFORMING AND FORMING

It’s the fall and that means established Small Groups are getting re-started and new groups are forming.  The goal of every true follower of Jesus Christ is to become like Him, fulfilling His purposes within the Community of His Church.  To meet that goal, small groups are essential.  Small groups offer true community, encouragement for the soul and deep satisfying truth from God’s word.  Small groups are a great way to become closer to other believers and to Christ.  Indicate your interest by signing up for a small group using the pew pad or calling/emailing the church office

Home, Home on the Plains

Families and college students, you can still join our family adoption ministry! Each fall participating Covenant families and students are matched for encouragement in the faith and family life. To join in, complete the forms in the pew pads at the end the pew and place them in the offering plate or call the church office. Deadline for sign-up is September 12.

Coosa River Family Trip: Labor Day, September 6

This weekend we will be going down to the Coosa for a fun Labor Day outing for families. This river float has become an annual event at Covenant. Be at the church at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, the bus is pulling out at 10!

Women’s Fall Retreat – Building Intimate Relationships

Covenant Women! Gather together for a day of relationships and relaxation. Gather on Saturday, September 11 for a day at the Wadsworth’s lake house on. Bring $5.00 for a Chicken Salad Chick lunch. Meet at the church at 8:30 if you want to carpool or caravan. The retreat begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m.
